The Volkswagen Golf GTI 2021 unveiled

The Volkswagen Golf was completely redesigned last year with the arrival of the 8th generation Volkswagen Golf. Now, Volkswagen is turning to the most efficient version of the Volkswagen range, the Golf GTI.

Unveiled on the sidelines of the Geneva Motor Show, the new Volkswagen Golf GTI 2021 will be more powerful, more efficient and faster. It will be powered by a powerful 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder engine developing 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque which will allow the GTI to reach 100 km/h in approximately 6.0 seconds. A top speed of 240 km/h is announced.

Visually, the new Golf GTI is lower and its general line is more aggressive. The distinguishing feature is certainly the front fog lights as well as the line of light-emitting diodes above the grille. Inside, the Golf GTI will be treated to a new central screen, an ambient light system with 30 interior colours and a fully digital instrument panel.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI will likely be unveiled in Canada in 2021. Contact us today to find out more!
